Heavy Duty 12 Cane Bolt Gate Drop Rod for Wood Fence

Included in the package are: 1x 12-inch heavy-duty drop rod, 2x heavy-duty drop rod brackets, and 4x 1" self-drilling Phillips combo screws. This set is used for locking gates or holding gates in the open position, with a non-removable bolt for added security. The gravity action bolt has a maximum throw of 2-3/4" and can be easily installed on gates with 1 1/2" or larger upright dimensions.

Made of sturdy premium steel, our black drop cane bolt is powder coated for durability and resistance to oxidation, ensuring a long lifespan outdoors. It attaches directly to the gate frame to prevent dragging and provide stability.

The gate drop rod is practical for securing single or double doors and gates in various positions. It can be locked in the raised/open position and is suitable for use on wood, metal, iron, or vinyl gates. Easy to install, the fence drop pin comes with installation instructions and mounting screws for vertical or horizontal applications.

Cane bolts anchor gates to the ground, preventing movement in windy conditions and protecting the gate system. The rod measures 1/2" in diameter and 12" in length, with screws measuring 1" in length. It is suitable for gates with a thickness of 1-1/2" or more.
